In Boston and (Finally) Blogging Again!

The good news: We successfully made it out to Boston after an amazing trip, and have spent the past month getting up to speed on work, catching up with old friends, and house hunting.  The bad news: we haven't had a ton of spare time, this blog has fallen by the wayside.  As we're starting to settle into our new lives back on the East coast, we plan on renewing our blog effort, and thought that we'd put together one quick post to cover the remaining culinary highlights of our Seattle-to-Boston trip.

Meat Lovers Appetizer Combo at Uncle Ed's Steakhouse in Grand Island, NE.  BBQ Wings, Ribs, and, yep, Fried Rocky Mountain Oysters.

20 oz. thick center cut T-bone at Uncle Ed's.  When asked how big of a steak I wanted, I had to specify that I ONLY wanted the 20 oz. steak.

16 oz. bone-in ribeye at Uncle Ed's.

Trio, Trio, Trio (Ceviche Sampler) at Rick Bayless's Topolobambo in Chicago.

Duck with Guajillo Chile Sauce at Topolobampo.

Pork Tenderloin with Mole at Topolobampo.

"The Dog" at Hot Doug's in Chicago.

Foie Gras Mousse and Truffle Aioli dog at Hot Doug's in Chicago.  When Chicago issued a ban on Foie, Doug paid the fines and continued selling this amazing dog.

Buffalo Wings at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY.  This is where wings were invented, and they were quite delicious.

Needless to say, it was a fantastic trip, and we look forward to actually starting to blog again as we get settled into our new lives!  Thanks for bearing with us!
